Durban Poison® Regular Seeds Description

Originally finding its way from South Africa to Holland in the 1970s, Durban Poison® is a pure sativa strain that, after a few generations of growing in northern Europe, was permeated by indica genetics from an unknown source. The early growth of wide leaves indicates the fractional indica genetics, but the long buds and narrow leaves that develop in the later stages of vegetation are clear signs of the sativa genetics. 

A hardy plant with mold and pest-resistant properties, Durban Poison® grows quickly and produces tall, bushy plants. She can produce excellent results outdoors and indoors, generating high yields, and performs particularly well in artificial light conditions. Indoor harvests are ready within 8-9 weeks.  Outdoor harvests can grow up to 3 meters before being ready, typically in late September or, in Northern climates, early October. 

Even though there is a hint of indica genetics in this strain, the effects are classic sativa, delivering a powerful, clear, uplifting, energising, high. Durban Poison® regular has a sweet and pleasant aniseed/licorice flavor, with notes of clove.
