As a final step a small amount of heat is applied under filtration in order to remove some plant waxes and chlorophyll which results in a milder-tasting golden hemp oil rich in CBD and CBDa.
Fresh hemp/cannabis contains the precursor CBDa as well as CBD, only heat is required to transform CBDa into CBD.
