This variety boasts a complex pedigree. Purple Urkle is a phenotype of Cali's sweetheart, Mendocino Purps, while Big Bud has Afghan and Skunk origins. These genetics come together seamlessly in the Granddaddy Purple strain, culminating in a genetic profile of 75% indica and 25% sativa.
 
Granddaddy Purple really brings the flavour, with a fruity and overall sweet terpene profile. The most prominent aromas are those of blueberries, fruit, and candy, but a dash of refreshing pine is also noticeable, making for an interesting mix. When ingested, GDP flowers wrap users up in a powerful and deeply relaxing physical stone, lifting their mood at the same time. This is a superb night-time strain, sure to help you wind down after a long day.
 

In the grow room or garden, GDP is a delight. Granddaddy Purple seeds produce sturdy, low-maintenance plants that reach medium heights of 80–120cm indoors and 120–150cm under the sun. If looked after with love and care, GPD can offer rewarding results of up to 450–500g/m² in indoor setups after 8–10 weeks of flowering. When reared outside, they are ready to harvest at the beginning of October and can produce up to 500–600g/plant.
