The Mega Buds concept is simple, massive yields and top-quality buds! Mega Buds are the self-styled ‘Yield Kings’ and have used their extensive experience in cultivating and breeding to bring you the biggest buds in the business. Founders, Chris and Liam are cannabis lovers with the knowledge and drive to get more from the plants that we all love. MegaBuds was born when Chris and Liam met in a bar in Amsterdam following the chaos of the 2014 Cannabis cup. They discussed the great strains that had been on show, which had the better taste, high and smoothness. However, it soon became clear that the one factor they kept coming back to was yield. As experienced breeders and home growing enthusiasts, they were only too familiar with the disappointment when a strain advertised as ‘high yielding’ produced and average crop. In their experience, breeders base their harvest measurements on near perfect conditions, resulting in disappointment for the home grower. This got them thinking – Just how big can a normal grower get a cannabis plant, without sacrificing quality? From that simple question this selection of monster breeds was born. Mega Buds’ goal is to find the best genetic lines and bring them to their full size potential. Their crossbreeds are built from the classic stock of the early 90’s and the latest hybrid varieties from Europe the US and Canada, including Big Bud, Critical Mass and Super Skunk. For them, it’s only ever been about two things: The best quality and the biggest yield.
